WEDDING CELEBRANT
Step One
Take your time to decide if you are both 100% happy to book me in. I'll always encourage an initial meet and greet before taking on new clients (whether this be in person or via zoom, or by phone if you prefer). Here I'll explain what I can bring to the table, what makes me completely unique and the process of writing your very own bespoke, rhyming, love story. I advise couples to listen to a few of my poems before the consultation so that you can both get a feel for my writing and delivery style (for an audio collection of my previous ceremonies, please click here). Once you've said "we do" (to me) - I'll secure your date and the next chapter of our journey together can begin...
Step Two
Once you've booked me in, I'll arrange a meeting (or if you prefer we can liaise through email - although I always recommend a face-to-face/zoom). Here, I'll conduct a friendly, informal interview... asking you questions about your unique love story thus far - probing you to recall your first encounter, up until the present day.
I'll write the first draft of your bespoke poem from this information (don't worry - they'll be plenty of opportunities to add anything that you've missed out during our meet via email). I'll then go on to write a final version where you have the option to read and approve, leave as a surprise (from you both or just one of you), or, nominate a trusted person to approve. The choice is yours! I'll then book you in for as many more meets as you desire, whether you need help with a song choice or just fancy a chat about anything - wedding related or not!
Step Three
On the day, I'll arrive in ample time to perform a sound check and to help in any way you so wish. I'll be dressed accordingly to compliment your colour scheme (if this is something you would like) and will come armed with plenty of tissues - we'll all need them! I'll also read from my 'Happily Ever After' fairytale themed wedding book or tablet (if you prefer) and you'll be gifted a framed copy of your bespoke poem.
